MEET JOHN FROSCHAUER With more than three decades in photography – much of it in the field of photojournalism – this Northwest photographer’s specialty is visualizing reality through the lens. As he has turned toward a freelance career during the past 15 years, John has also developed his technical expertise in lighting, digital photo editing and delivery. Capturing people at their best, at their most emotional and as they go about their work or play is his special skill. He puts subjects instantly at ease, making a photo shoot seem more like a friendly conversation than a sweat-it-out, stressful encounter. He moves seamlessly between the athletic field and the corporate suite, the elementary classroom and the governor’s mansion, the flood-ravaged farmstead and the researcher’s laboratory.
